- Peter Finn Added March 19, 2018★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Visited Saturday afternoon with my niece, wife and mother. The facilities and staff were excellent. We ordered with the friendly girl behind the counter. In the display case were 2 beautiful and generous looking pieces of cherry/berry pie with a pastry lattice top on it. I ordered one for mum (who has dementia). When it came out the nice young girl placed it in front of mum , with our drinks, and then left. Before I could do anything, mum was eating it. It looked great, and she enjoyed it. My problem is, the generous piece on display was cut into 2 small slices and one of those is what mum got. May I suggest you display the portion size that you are charging the customer for so they don't feel cheated. Our experience was soured by getting half of what we thought we paid for. We certainly wouldn't have paid the money for the small "half" slice. We would certainly be more wary of what we are paying for should we return. I didn't want to query the staff at the time for personal reasons. Kind regards, Peter (Townsville local)
